Job Description
This Atlanta-based role will primarily concentrate on financial analysis and due diligence, with a specific emphasis on commercial real estate assets such as industrial, office, mixed-use, and retail properties.
Responsibilities:
- Build Argus Enterprise models from the ground up for various commercial asset types.
- Review and analyze source documents such as accounting rent rolls, leases, lease abstracts, and CAM reconciliations.
- Create, manage, and continuously update financial models to assess current and projected asset performance.
- Maintain and revise Argus files to reflect changes in leasing activity, operating data, and market assumptions.
- Ensure all Argus models adhere to internal modeling standards and quality control protocols.
- Prepare and update presentations for internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Collaborate on team-driven projects and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Occasional travel required (estimated at less than one week per quarter).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Argus Enterprise expertise is mandatory. Do not apply if you are unable to pass an Argus proficiency test.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience at a commercial real estate firm, with a focus on office and/or retail assets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with complex functions and large data sets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
- Solid understanding of basic pro forma financial statements and modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
