A startup building data-centric software for business customers is hiring a technical product manager for its platform engineering group. The person in this seat shapes new customer-facing workflows and works in close contact with engineers, implementation staff and the commercial teams.
Your focus
- Design new workflows and refine existing processes so customers reach value quickly
- Guide engineers through releases involving data integrations, data models, dashboard setup and data-quality checks
- Take part in hands-on rollouts of new capabilities and prepare the implementation team for go-live
- Build small to mid-sized features yourself with AI coding assistants
- Back up customer success and sales with technical help that speeds up deployments and unblocks problems
- Produce reusable guides, playbooks and tooling that shape internal operations
Ideal background
- Two to five years as a technical product manager, data-adjacent PM, or engineer moving into product
- Has carried a project from concept to delivery alongside engineers and can discuss it in depth
- Direct experience with data flows, warehousing or data-processing products, including unstructured text data
- Startup experience, ideally with some AI exposure, and fluency with agentic development tools
- Degree in computer science or an engineering-adjacent field
- Comfortable writing requirements and digging into the details personally rather than only coordinating others
Hybrid in New York, NY, with most of the week on-site. Not open to visa sponsorship or transfers.
