JOB-1987

An early-stage, well-funded AI-native supply chain startup uses large language models to help businesses buy and sell inventory. It is hiring core builders who will take on large, ambiguous problems from architecture through customer conversations and shape both the technology and the culture.

Your scope

  • Own whole problem areas, such as the lifecycle of purchase orders, entity resolution or agentic search, designing, building and iterating independently
  • Build core AI infrastructure: product and entity matching, substitution suggestions using retrieval-augmented generation, price discovery and an agent platform with durable execution that runs distributed systems at scale
  • Speak directly with customers to learn how their operations work and turn untidy real-world problems into released solutions
  • Put large amounts of real-world logistics data to work, automating processes that currently live in inboxes, PDFs and institutional memory
  • Help establish engineering standards and culture as an early team member

Who thrives here

  • Two or more years of software engineering (up to very senior), with excellent technical fundamentals and a history of delivering work with major impact
  • Evidence of rapid growth, such as quick advancement at a respected company followed by founding-level ownership
  • Autonomous, driven and comfortable tackling hard problems without direction
  • Personable and sensible enough to talk with buyers and suppliers
  • Experience with Node, Python or TypeScript and with distributed systems or large datasets
  • A standout accomplishment in school or work

On-site in San Francisco. Visa transfers and new sponsorships are both considered.
