Our client is a quickly growing company building an AI-first software platform to run mortgage servicing operations. It has landed several big enterprise clients and needs capable backend engineers who take features from idea to launch and clear a demanding technical bar.
What you’ll own
- Take features through every stage in a high-autonomy startup environment
- Build and scale backend systems that process large volumes of mortgage payments
- Lean on AI assistants for drafting and delivering production software, with a person reviewing everything that ships
- Architect dependable systems that comply with a thicket of national, regional and agency rules
- Contribute to either product work or platform and infrastructure work, depending on team fit
Profile
- Three to ten years of backend-leaning software engineering, ideally at product-focused, well-regarded tech companies
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, able to hand-code solutions without AI help
- System design experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Daily use of AI coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor
- Clear career progression, with titles that match years of experience
- Familiarity with a Python, React and GCP environment is helpful
Remote within the United States. Visa transfers are considered.
