A growing company that provides data infrastructure for AI is looking for an early engineering hire. The role suits a fast-learning generalist who takes full ownership of features and builds internal platforms alongside the operations team that keeps the business running.
Scope
- Partner with operations to spot bottlenecks and create tools that give operators more leverage
- Own features across the full TypeScript stack and release them within days rather than weeks
- Use AI coding assistants fluently while still scrutinizing what they produce
- Make sensible product and design trade-offs, consulting internal users directly about what to build
- Pick up whatever each problem requires in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift often
Profile
- One to five years of full-stack engineering, with production features shipped independently from start to finish
- Startup experience, or a quickly rising path at a larger technology company
- Everyday use of AI coding tools
- Solid TypeScript across both infrastructure and frontend
- Clear communication with non-technical colleagues
- A computer science or technical degree from a strong program
- Having built internal tools for operations teams is a plus
On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York, NY, five days a week. Visa transfers and sponsorship are available.
