A venture-backed startup whose AI software helps companies research their customers and markets is expanding its New York engineering presence. It wants a senior-to-staff-caliber engineer who can take on tough problems from start to finish and help broaden the product.
What you’ll own
- Insight and analysis tooling, including conversational features inside the product
- Self-serve incentive and participant-recruitment capabilities, plus the lists and panels behind them
- Product experience and the design system that holds it together
- Joint efforts with colleagues in product and design on initiatives heavy on product thinking
- Backend platform work, for example distributed services and APIs
Profile
- Roughly four to eight years as a full-stack engineer leaning toward the front end, or as a product engineer
- Strong React and TypeScript
- Prior ownership of a major feature or platform taken from zero to one
- Startup experience, ideally at a fast-growing company with a high technical bar
- Founder-like ownership and comfort with ambiguity
- Signals of excellence such as quick promotions, coding competition wins or founding-engineer experience
