Senior Full Stack Engineer (Audio AI Data Startup)

A fast-growing research-driven company that produces audio data for leading AI labs is looking for a full stack engineer to own technical direction and ship products from start to finish. The engineer will sit close to researchers and build the platforms behind the next wave of audio models.

What you’ll own

• Building new products from nothing across frontend and backend
• Quick technical decisions made with limited information in a fast-moving startup
• Scalable systems that handle terabytes of audio
• Partnership with research engineers as they gather data and refine it
• Coaching newer engineers and establishing technical standards while the team expands

Qualifications

• Three to seven years of product-focused full stack engineering, with strong TypeScript and Python
• Ownership of zero-to-one projects, including the technical decisions behind them
• Time at a startup during a period of rapid growth
• Web development skills spanning frontend and backend (Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL and AWS are in the stack)
• A computer science degree from a strong university
• Nice to have: mentoring or tech-lead experience, AI-focused or data infrastructure company background, and work with LLM-based solutions
