JOB-1847

An early-stage startup that uses AI agents to run logistics and retail fulfillment workflows is looking for an engineer, in a founding role, to create the platform around them. The company believes its edge comes less from the model and more from the surrounding software that links to real systems and keeps operations reliable.

The work

  • Move features that customers see from idea to launch: speak with users, shape the solution and watch them get used
  • Model data securely and traceably, and build event-driven pipelines feeding the agent workflows
  • Create APIs, both internal-facing and public, plus a live operator console showing customers the full state of their operations
  • Build direct connections to ERPs, third-party logistics firms, retailers and freight carriers, along with a sturdy synchronization layer
  • Set up monitoring, service-level objectives and on-call habits for workflows where an outage means shipments go out late and penalties follow
  • Work wherever the leverage is highest, whether backend, data engineering or frontend

Who thrives here

  • Two to six years as a full-stack engineer building products for end users
  • Experience at a SaaS startup with a high product bar, ideally a small team
  • Strong product instincts and the ability to turn customer feedback into a better interface
  • High agency and ability to deliver features end to end with little oversight
  • TypeScript, Node, Postgres, Next.js and Tailwind are the main tools
  • A computer science or similar degree

On-site in New York, NY. Visa transfers considered.
