A fast-moving AI software company is expanding into back-office accounting and needs an experienced implementation leader to deliver them to large enterprise clients. Picture an accountant who embeds with customers, blending consulting with hands-on implementation to help finance teams define, set up and launch automated financial workflows quickly.
Accountabilities
- Lead customer projects start to finish, partnering with CFOs and their finance staff to launch accounting and ERP software
- Scope each customer’s workflows and configure the software to match
- Cover the work before and after the sale for accounting products spanning general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll and payments
- Make intricate financial and system topics easy for customers to grasp
- Build processes from scratch while moving quickly and taking ownership
What qualifies you
- Six to ten years implementing ERP or accounting software, or leading finance transformation work at a large professional services firm or an accounting or ERP startup
- Firm command of back-office processes such as month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and payables or receivables
- Track record of managing customers and speaking with senior finance leaders
- Accounting or finance degree; a CPA is a plus
- Builder mindset suited to a startup pace, without needing heavy structure, and willingness to do hands-on deployment work
On-site in New York, NY, four to five days a week. Visa transfers and new sponsorship are available for candidates based in the US or Canada.
