JOB-1737
A young company that protects enterprise AI deployments is hiring its first hire on the commercial side. Its buyers are security and IT executives at large organizations. Paying customers and several pilots already exist, yet the founder has handled every sale personally. The new hire reports to the CEO and has a defined route into an account executive role.
The work
- Prospect senior IT and security leaders at big enterprises through LinkedIn, email, calls and events, with a goal of roughly ten meetings per week
- Study each target account beforehand, including AI initiatives and tech stack, and write brief, tailored notes that stand apart in a crowded category
- Schedule and qualify initial conversations for the founders, join their calls, and learn the product deeply enough to discuss protecting AI coding agents credibly
- Configure outreach sequences using Apollo and Clay, follow up after executive roundtables or conferences, and maintain clean CRM records
- Relay what buyers say back to the founders, covering objections, rival vendors and which messages land
Who thrives here
- One to four years as a BDR or SDR, ideally in security, AI, data or infrastructure startups
- Outbound results in a noisy software market, selling to technical buyers or CISOs
- Startup mindset; a career spent only at very large companies fits less well
- Ability to work from the office five days weekly
On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa transfers and new sponsorship are both possible.
