Our client builds infrastructure that helps AI research labs produce training data, and it is expanding quickly. It is looking for a senior engineer to come aboard early on. You would own difficult, ambiguous features from start to finish and lead by example on a small, high-caliber team behind the platform that supports data production for leading AI research labs.
What you’ll own
- Take full ownership of building a platform that automates how data is produced for the leading AI research labs
- Make design and architecture decisions on your own, lifting the polish and performance of the product
- Lead a pod of two or three engineers through mentoring and removing obstacles
- Work alongside operations colleagues to find high-impact problems and shape them into product features
- Get more done with AI coding assistants every day, while scrutinizing what they produce
Qualifications
- Five to ten years of full-stack product engineering, including TypeScript
- Technical leadership, such as owning architecture decisions or mentoring engineers
- Startup or small-team experience shipping products from zero to one
- Product-minded: talks with users and makes design calls independently
- Generalist comfort across frontend, backend and infrastructure
- Clear communication with non-technical operators and stakeholders
- DevOps experience and strong design taste are pluses
