Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Consumer Mobile App)

A fast-growing consumer app company wants a senior web engineer to bring its popular mobile product to the browser. The hire will start the web platform from scratch, shape the standards for later web and Android work, and run the internal tooling the team uses.

The work

• Launch the web edition of the company’s flagship app on top of existing backend systems, targeting a few months of delivery
• Define team conventions and best practices for React, with possible React Native work later
• Own every internal tool and the internal dashboard so colleagues can work efficiently and use data well
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and data models, influencing app performance
• Lift the user experience with animation, small interaction details and layouts that adapt to screen size while feeling native

What you bring

• Five or more years of full-stack web engineering centered on React and TypeScript
• Experience shipping a high-growth consumer product at scale, either at a consumer startup or on a zero-to-one effort at a large company
• Ownership of front-end standards for a consumer-facing web app
• Polished UI craft, including animation and faithful Figma implementation
• Strong product sense and the ability to prioritize and ship quickly with little structure
• Plus: real-time features, payments or consumer gaming exposure
