JOB-1575
An early-stage startup that builds AI tools for scientists and pharmaceutical researchers is hiring a hands-on product marketer. This is an individual contributor seat that works with the founders to set priorities and lay the groundwork for how the company takes products to market.
What you’ll own
- Positioning rooted in customer work: learn what problems researchers are tackling, how they currently work and what leads them to choose the product, then turn that into messaging for lab scientists as well as buyers at pharmaceutical companies
- Customer stories built from evidence, written personally as case studies, usage examples and tutorials, with arranging expert review and getting customers to sign off along the way
- Product launches, from audience and message through copy, demos and collateral, plus learning from what people do afterward
- A tight marketing plan ranking which narratives and releases deserve effort, managing deadlines and owning distribution, measured by useful customer conversations and qualified opportunities as well as engagement
- Input to wider brand direction as the business matures
Profile
- Three to six years in product marketing, with experience framing AI capabilities as customer value for enterprise buyers
- Time at a high-growth AI startup, ideally Series A or B
- Daily use of AI tools for tasks like competitive research, analysis and dashboards
- Nice to have: pharma, biotech or life-sciences knowledge, and some familiarity with conversion and ad analytics
On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa transfers considered.
