A fintech startup creating an online trading product for individual investors is expanding its front-end team. Engineers here shape the core web experience for everyday traders, turning fast-moving market data into screens that feel clear, quick and trustworthy, and they release often alongside designers and backend colleagues.
The work
- Build and maintain rich web applications and shared component libraries that stay quick, accessible and able to grow
- Develop responsive, interactive charts and live visualizations that support better trading decisions
- Tune performance and reliability, using smart caching to get pages loading in under a second
- Integrate REST endpoints and WebSocket feeds, and keep the browser-side state dependable
- Configure and look after CI/CD pipelines covering builds, previews, automated testing and easy rollbacks
- Own significant front-end systems from architecture through performance
Qualifications
- One to ten years of professional frontend engineering with strong React, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Professional experience with latency-sensitive, real-time interfaces, for instance in trading, gaming or similar products
- Deep CSS skills, including the Web Animations API
- Active, firsthand interest in trading, or prior front-end work for a trading firm or exchange
- Public, live work that shows polished visual quality, plus a GitHub profile with recent real code
- Comfort writing code without leaning entirely on AI assistants
