JOB-1538

An augmented-reality hardware maker wants a senior program manager to carry its optical components from lab-proven processes to full factory output. The job spans process work, equipment teams and factory operations, and it centers on delivering the scale-up rather than reporting on it.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the new-product-introduction path that takes optical component manufacturing from small validation lots to very large volumes
  • Be accountable for output, yield and quality across the whole production line instead of a single step
  • Align research, process development, tooling teams and volume production so scale-up programs stay on schedule
  • Press technical teams on their commitments, examine the details, and help engineers judge when an issue is resolved well enough to proceed
  • Run several programs in parallel and bridge the space between invented processes and factory-ready ones

Profile

  • Five or more years managing technical programs across semiconductors, optics or high-precision production
  • You have owned process scaling from end to end, not just one module
  • Hands-on history developing custom capital equipment, including acceptance testing and management of equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Experience moving processes from development into volume production within a fab, cleanroom or comparable setting
  • Enough technical depth to question process, mechanical, electrical and controls engineers and make informed calls
  • Regular AI tool use woven into your daily workflow
  • Comfortable spending frequent time on the manufacturing floor and in cleanrooms
