A small, venture-backed startup is using AI to automate how chemical manufacturers schedule production and prepare quotes, and it has just landed its first large enterprise contract. It wants a junior-to-mid full-stack engineer who has good product instincts and enjoys building from nothing in unclear territory.
Your focus
- Build and ship AI agents that manage intricate quoting, pricing and cross-selling workflows for large chemical producers
- Own product features across the stack, from interface to server, in TypeScript, Next.js and React
- Connect the product to customers’ ERP systems such as SAP
- Solve deployment and data-residency problems so European enterprise clients get GDPR-compliant setups
About you
- One to three years of full-stack product engineering, ideally at startups, with real experience building or integrating AI systems and agent-based products
- Solid TypeScript and React; Next.js is a plus
- Hands-on projects using an agent framework, going beyond simply prompting a chatbot
- Heavy daily reliance on AI-assisted coding, and genuine curiosity about new AI techniques
- Strong product sense and comfort with ambiguity
On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area, five days a week, so candidates should already live locally. Visa transfers are considered.
