JOB SUMMARY:
A fast-growing software automation company is seeking a Product Engineer (Frontend Focus) to design and deliver high-performance interfaces and experiences for its investigation and automation engine. This role is central to product development, focusing on scalable, reliable frontend systems that translate complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly designs. Engineers will own dashboards, workflows, and reusable components while collaborating closely with design, product, and backend teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Own and evolve core frontend systems, including dashboards and workflows.

  • Partner with design to build intuitive, performant, and accessible user experiences.

  • Develop reusable, scalable components in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

  • Prototype, validate, and ship iteratively to production.

  • Optimize frontend performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with product and backend teams to simplify complex technical workflows.

  • Uphold high standards for frontend engineering through reviews and design discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4–8 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in frontend development at scale.

  • Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web fundamentals.

  • Proven success delivering and maintaining complex production apps.

  • Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and UX best practices.

  • Ability to contribute across the stack (bonus: backend APIs or infra tooling).

  • Startup experience, ideally in product-driven teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Extreme ownership mindset, comfortable making ambiguous decisions.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with data-intensive or developer-focused products.

  • Exposure to real-time applications or AI/ML-powered interfaces.

  • Familiarity with Tailwind, React Native, responsive design.
