Software Engineer – Full Stack

Target Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 + equity + benefits

JOB SUMMARY:

A growing technology firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead full-stack development initiatives and collaborate closely with design and leadership teams to implement product enhancements and backend integrations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Own and drive end-to-end development across backend and frontend systems.

• Build and maintain integrations with large language models (LLMs).

• Enhance and optimize dashboards and data-heavy workflows.

• Implement and scale secure infrastructure for customer data handling.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive UI/UX.

• Lead system architecture improvements and backend optimizations.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Support scaling of the engineering team and mentor junior developers.

• Contribute to roadmap discussions and long-term product strategy.

• Engage with stakeholders in a customer-facing capacity as the role evolves.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development.

• Skilled in TypeScript and Next.js (React) for frontend work.

• Experience with document processing, data-heavy workflows, and long-running job infra (KEDA, SQS, etc.).

• Knowledge of AWS GovCloud or Azure GovCloud and secure handling of sensitive data.

• Prior experience building AI/LLM-based applications a strong plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Previous early-stage startup or founding engineer experience preferred.
