JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Product Liability & Mass Torts practice group in the New York office. This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of high-stakes, large-scale litigation. The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, and capable of managing discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom logistics in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of litigation casework, including discovery, document production, and trial preparation.
 - Serve as a point of contact with clients, co-counsel, and vendors throughout the litigation lifecycle.
 - Organize and maintain comprehensive case files, including subject-matter, deposition, and expert witness materials.
 - Coordinate and conduct document reviews for responsiveness, privilege, and redactions using platforms like Relativity.
 - Draft and prepare discovery responses and court filings; perform e-filing as required.
 - Assist with trial preparation and provide on-site courtroom support for multiple trials annually.
 - Conduct legal research and citation review, including cite checking, Shepardizing, and Bluebooking.
 - Build and maintain litigation databases and transcript repositories.
 - Prepare deposition prep materials and witness binders.
 - Accurately track and record billable time.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
 - Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a mid-to-large law firm, with a focus on defense litigation.
 - Strong understanding of litigation case management, court procedures, and trial workflows.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, and litigation tools (e.g., Relativity).
 - Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
 - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
 - Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, and travel extensively for trial support.
 - In-courtroom trial experience strongly preferred.
