Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of complex litigation. Reporting to the Associate Director of Paralegals and working closely with practice group attorneys, this role offers exposure to high-profile matters and trial work. The position may be based in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, Kansas City, Dallas, or St. Louis.
Responsibilities
- Draft and support pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and appellate filings.
- Coordinate large-scale document reviews and productions using firm-approved software tools.
- Assist with all aspects of trial preparation, including exhibit management, logistics, vendor coordination, and in-court support.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and other tools.
- Perform cite checking and prepare summaries or chronologies as needed.
- Manage discovery processes, including requests for production and interrogatories.
- Serve as liaison among attorneys, clients, experts, and external parties.
- Support case teams on-site at client offices, courtrooms, or trial venues when needed.
- Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
- Experience with litigation support tools, including Trial Director and e-discovery platforms.
- Strong organizational and investigative skills; capable of managing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, travel as needed, and work overtime with little notice.
- Must be available to report to the office or assigned locations as scheduled.
